Some of our key personnel that will make your experience truly unique are: Matthew Hulley-Miller – Managing Director Matthew was born in Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. He graduated from high school in South Africa and attended a short course at an agricultural college before moving back to Zimbabwe. He comes to Safrique with 15 years of wildlife experience in Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Matthew began his career as a canoe guide on the mighty Zambezi river and has been involved as a professional hunter with many of the big names in the safari industry since then. He first arrived in the Niassa Reserve in 1999 and has gained intimate knowledge of the area and its wildlife. Matthew is the holder of a full Zimbabwean professional hunters licence with over 10 years of big 4 hunting experience. His passion for the African bush and his considerable experience in the field ensure for a truly memorable hunting experience. Contact email id: mhulley-miller@safrique.net Ian Rutledge—Partner and Professional Hunter Ian was born in N. Rhodesia, in what is now Zambia and immigrated to S. Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. He graduated from the University of Natal in South Africa with a degree in Agricultural Management. He is married and has two children aged 6 and 10. Ian has worked as a ranch manager and ran his own paprika and ostrich farm for a number of years. He is a registered Zimbabwean professional hunter with over 20 years of experience hunting in southeast Africa. For the last several years Ian’s primary business has been conducting conservation hunting in the world renowned Black Rhino Conservancy in the Midlands, Zimbabwe. This professional mix of hunting and wildlife conservation experience will surely make your Safrique safari a safe and spectacular adventure.
